Know Your Cell Phone Battery

Cellular phone device activated by a rechargeable battery.

The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually wear out. When the talk and standby times are noticeably shorter than normal please replace your cell phone battery.

Use only batteries recommended by your mobile phone vendors and recharge your battery only with the chargers recommended by your mobile phone vendors. If a replacement battery will be used for the first time or if the battery is not used for a long time, maybe you need to connect, disconnect and then connect the power charger to begin charging the battery.

Unplug the charger from the outlet when the device is not used. Do not leave fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime.

If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take a few minutes before the charging indicator appears in the display or before any calls can be made.
Do not use a battery that is damaged.

If you have a battery backup, make sure the batteries are not short-circuit. This can happen, for example if the battery backup is put in your pocket or purse.

Keep your spare battery safely at room temperature between 15-25 degrees Celsius.

The battery is too hot or too cold can not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged. Battery performance is particularly limited in temperatures below freezing.

Do not dispose of batteries in fire as they may explode.
